Darryl lives in the Puget Sound area with his lovely wife Sharon and their beautiful daughter Liliah, whom they adopted from China in January 2009. Darryl enjoys the outdoors and loves to fish, ride ATV's, hike and generally spending as much time outdoors as possible. Sharon loves to garden and spends her spare time beautifying their 1/3 of an acre property. M & M's and ice cream are Liliah's favorite things, and she spends ALL of her spare time discovering new and creative ways to eat her favorite desserts.
      
About Our Inspector- Darryl Grimaldi

Working for a general contractor while in high school, Darryl learned home building from the ground up. After attending college as a business major,  he returned to the home building industry. Over time he became a highly skilled master carpenter. Darryl performed his first home inspection in 1989.

Darryl has been a superintendent of finish carpentry for a landscape architecture firm, a field superintendent for a custom home builder, a contract superintendent of finish carpentry for a large orthopedic firm as well as running his own general contracting business for many years.

After moving to Washington State in 1998, Darryl apprenticed with an established Seattle home inspection firm. He assisted on approximately 50 inspections of both residential and commercial properties before starting his own home inspection company.

Darryl is a graduate of the Allied Business School Home Inspection Course, following the rigorous State of California Home Inspection standards. He is licensed with the State of Washington as both a Structural Pest Inspector and General Contractor.
